Standard Ex d motors

 

Explosion-protected electric motors are used in industrial plants with a potentiall explosive atmosphere containing inflamable fumes (i.e. chemical industry, oil efineries, etc.).

 

These are three-phase asynchronous electric motors with shot-circuit rotor, according to the CENELEC EN 50014, EN 50018, EN 50019 (IEC 79-0, IEC 79-1).

The electro-motors from series 4KCT are manufactured for use in gas hazardous atmospheres with a maximum explosion-proof protection II 2G EExde II CT4,T5,T6.

 

The new series of the electric motors 4KCTD is an upgrade of the 4KTC series and is suitable for use in explosion hazardous areas containing gases, vapours and all types of combustible dust, including conducting dust, in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
